Join the adventures of four young women as they delve into a shadowy world of unknown dangers. A dark world where monsters don’t just stalk the night, they control it. Follow Ana, Ayame, Suto and Wednesday, the elite strike force of a mysterious organization, as they protect humanity from a supernatural threat it doesn’t even believe exists.
Throughout history humans have lived side by side with the supernatural. Usually the two groups are able to coexist because the supernatural beings are content to hide in the shadows, leaving humanity in blissful ignorance. But not all monsters can stand lingering in the dark. And when they lash out, it is with a ferocity and power that humans can scarce imagine.
This is the reason why the Shadow Saints exist. A clandestine society, the Shadow Saints are an international organization whose sole purpose is to police the supernatural societies and to stop those creatures which step over the line and become a threat to human beings. To do this the Shadow Saints search the globe, recruiting the exceptional few that possess the skills and the will necessary to fight beings with paranormal powers.
These unique individuals are separated into strike forces specialized in battling the supernatural. The premiere strike force, also the newest, is comprised of four of the most talented and unusual women from around the planet. Ayame, a powerful priestess and martial artist. Suto, a talented hunter with years of experience. Ana, a brilliant swordswoman with a mysterious past. And finally Wednesday, a supernatural being her self, using her powers to protect rather than destroy.
These girls have a tough road ahead. Every year the world grows darker and supernatural beings are becoming more brazen. Between vicious monsters, rival groups and the odd shadowy organization, what’s a girl to do? Or even four of them.
