Lunar Eclipse

A full moon blossoming

An Autumn twilight eve

The cold air grasping at my skin

Pulling at the little heart I have

Twinkling stars catch my eye

While walking the unseen path

I keep walking blind

Not knowing what is ahead

My cloak rustles in the wind

I pull it close to shield my face

All the time watching

A dark shadow creeps across the silver medallion

I stumble

Without its divine light

To guide my sinners feet

Across the path I follow

A destination waits somewhere

Along the path

I'll keep going

As long as I have light
