Webserver Crash

We had a webserver hard drive failure last week. I think that everything is back up and running, and should be back as normal. If you happen to notice any broken links or errors, please leave a message on the forums.

Also… the PI webpage has become the traffic driver for the site. Funny, isn’t it?

DBC 1.6.2 Bug

FYI for everyone out there using DBC 1.6.2. I’ve had some reports that this version will produce SQL files with no field data or no data at all. I haven’t been able to debug the issue entirely, but there is an “unoffical patched” version (I’m calling it 1.6.3, but it’s not really… )

Infected with DRM

We wanted to warn our downloaders about some Sony CDs which are infected with DRM. Please take a look at your CDs and see if any of them are on this list which is not complete, but you can do more research if you like. This sony rootkit/DRM infection is also (allegedly) using stolen GPL/LGPL code, which is against what Zenwerx stands for (providing free software and respecting free software licenses).

DBC 1.6.2 Update

This is a notice to anyone who downloaded DBC 1.6.2. We made a bad build by accident with some DLL’s out of whack. Please uninstall, re-download, and re-install DB Converter 1.6.2.

The good news, is that this little faux pas allowed us to sneak the Italian translation into the build!

DBC 1.6 Released

Further to the previous announcement: We have German (Swiss Flavour) and Spanish (Cuban, I believe) translated. We are waiting for the help system revamp, and hoping for a French translation before the release hits. We shall see how things go.

DBC 1.6 Coming Soon

DB Converter will have a new release coming out soon. We are adding Multilingual support (Localization), and fixing a few other small bugs. If you know another language and would like to see DB Converter in that tongue, please feel free to visit our SourceForge project page.

http://www.neuromancer.ca has been updated with a new design. This has been updated since about the beginning of May, but it is definitely different. A complete overhaul of the site has been done. More content is being added all the time.

DBC 1.5 Released

After a code submission from a wonderful user (Thanks Marco) we have spurred on to complete a new version of DBC. The new version includes a new MySQL connection engine, better error checking, and support for MySQL INNODB tables.

There’s more, so check it out! The release is only available in SOURCE right now, but stay tuned for an installer.
