While working for Tsavo Media I was tasked with creating a web site which would allow us to outsource content creation for the company’s web properties cheaply and efficiently. The result was “Content Recruiter”, a site where authors could pick articles to write and get paid per word.
The entire site was created with:
C#, SQL Server, WCF Services, and Telerik AJAX Controls
The system was linked in with our back-end systems using WCF Web Services, allowing automated article request submissions from other internal tools. It was also linked with Paypal in order to do author payments, as well as take payments for content from any partners.
